Book giveaway rules

Every month, we will give away a valuable programming book. Here's how it works:

Subscribe to our email list and you are automatically entered to win. Unsubscribing your name from the list removes your name from the pool of those eligible to be selected. Every month, on or about the first calendar day of the month, one email address will be selected at random from those eligible to win and that person will be notified that they have won.

Winning: Winners will be notified via their email address. Winners must respond via email with their physical mailing address in order to claim their prize. Prizes not claimed within 90 days will be forfeited. TwoDesk Software Company will pay up to $15.00 USD in shipping to deliver the prize to the winner. Any additional domestic and international shipping charges, duties, taxes, and sales taxes are the responsibility of the winner.

More rules: No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. Residents of countries under trade sanctions with the United States which would prohibit shipment of prize are not eligible to win. No transfer/substitution by prize winner permitted. In order to receive the prize, winner must provide his name and physical mailing address. By providing his name to accept the prize, winner agrees to allow TwoDesk Software Company to publish his name for advertising/trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Odds of winning will vary on a monthly basis based on the number of subscriptions. As of January 24, 2010, odds of winning were approximately 1:5000. The duration of this promotion is the sole discretion of Jacob Thurman DBA TwoDesk Software Company, and is not subject to notice of cancellation or continuance.
